About Got Next Pickleball League

Got Next Pickleball League (GNPL) is a non-profit pickleball organization founded by Umair Sheikh with a mission to deliver a high-quality, inclusive, and competitive pickleball experience while building a strong and connected community both on and off the court.

What makes GNPL unique is our weekly draft system. Rather than playing with the same team or partner each week, players are drafted into new teams and matchups, creating opportunities to compete alongside and against a diverse group of individuals from different personal and professional backgrounds. This format keeps the game fresh and competitive while encouraging new connections, camaraderie, and a genuine sense of community.

GNPL is proudly volunteer-run and powered by individuals who are passionate about pickleball and committed to creating a positive experience for everyone involved. Our goal extends beyond the game itself. We believe pickleball can be a platform for bringing people together, building meaningful relationships, and making a positive impact in the communities we serve.

As part of that commitment, GNPL is proud to work alongside local charities and community organizations, using our platform to support meaningful causes and give back to the community.

Whether you’re a player, volunteer, supporter, or community partner, we invite you to be part of what we’re building.
